Curriculum Vitae

Prof. Ir. Respati Wikantiyoso, MSA, Ph.D., earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Gadjah Mada University (1987). He subsequently pursued a master’s in architecture at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1992. In 1999, he was awarded a doctorate in urban and regional planning at the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). From 2000 to 2008, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and from 2012 to 2019, he served as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation at Merdeka University Malang. From 2009 to present, he has led the City and Settlement Laboratory, Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Merdeka University Malang. He has been the Head of Research on Urban Issues, funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, since 2009. He has reviewed various competitive grant programs at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology since 2006.
